Creating a Digital Vaccination Pass

Hey East Coasters! 

As you are all aware, vaccination against Covid-19 and proof of vaccination is a requirement for the trip.  
If your child is not yet vaccinated, here is the site where you can make an appointment or find a walk-in location to begin the process: http://www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/Coronavirus/vaccine/index.htm 

Once you have been fully vaccinated (2 weeks after your 2nd dose), being able to prove your vaccination status prior to us leaving can be quick and easy.  Just go to the following website: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/ 

Enter the necessary information and it will create a link and QR code to your vaccination information.

Be sure to continue making your payments to Nations Classroom as we work our way towards January. We have filled our first bus, and are close to filling our 2nd.  If you have any friends at Rio who are interested in joining us, have them stop by my room for information. 

Once all payments have been made, I will have a final roster of students going on the trip, and will have a student traveler meeting around the beginning of February.  At this meeting, I will go over important information, students will choose their roommates, and I will be checking proof of vaccination.  If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
